I agonized over this painting for months, something just never felt quiet right about it no matter how many times I refined the lines or flipped it upside down. Eventually I decided to stop taking it so seriously and instead I found a friend within it by drawing on a joyful face. His name is “lil buddy” and he’s very happy to meet you.
