“The Fallout” is a movie released in 2021 starring Jenna Ortega and Maddie Ziegler as two high schoolers facing the aftermath of grief, loss, and fear all while growing into their adulthood and living through that coming of age phase of life. I painted this piece while repeatedly watching this movie and drew a lot of inspiration from the incredible acting and cinematography, intentionally choosing bright colors.
