This painting was made at a point where I was creatively very pastel, I leaned towards blues and pinks almost entirely, and strayed from anything richer in color. But one day this color of purple inspired me. Combined with gold leaf and a thick texture caused by white acrylic paint, this painting, to me, intensifies this beautiful royal color.
